Between 1979 and present 2013, a span of 34 years, 9 major wars have been fought, 6 civil wars have been raged, and 1 genocide had been perpetration, not to include countless other conflicts and reported cases of massacres. Under it's belt, man has amassed a total of 128 years and 7 months of war time engagement with an estimated 5,547,108 civilian and military casualties, rounding off to 5.6 million people. On average, 164,705 people died per year during these armed struggles.

I was born in 1985, and am near 28. During my lifetime, 4.6 million people have died from war time conflicts, should I live to the US average life expectancy of 79 rounded, by 2064, 8.4 million more people will die. This is the world at war.
